Canada Day Celebrations in Regina


The Lieutenant Governor's Garden Party will take place on July 1, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on the beautiful grounds of Government House located at 4607 Dewdney Avenue in Regina. Everyone is welcome and there is no admission fee.

Entertainment, children’s activities, and complimentary refreshments are provided, and Government House will be open for tours.

There will be a formal program beginning at 2:25 p.m. featuring Brad Johner and the Johner Boys.

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket, lawn chairs, sun screen, a hat, and insect repellent. The event is a multicultural celebration and guests are also invited to dress in cultural outfits. For more information, please contact 306.787.4070 or email lgo@ltgov.sk.ca.

The main stage will now be located on the east end of Legislative Drive, with family performers on stage in the afternoon, and the teen's performer and local bands performing in the evening.

The Western Canada's Strongest Man competition will be back for it's third year, there will be Dino Bouncers and Cirque Nova Circus performers for the kids, and CurbsideGames will provide entertainment for the tweens and teens. Food, retail and craft vendors will be on hand selling there wares, and a number of street teams will be providing entertainment and activities.

Weather permitting, the evening will once again be capped off with a spectacular display of fire works.
