The Saskatchewan Science Centre is one of those places where you a could spend couple of hours playing and lose track of time. We’ve been taking my son there since he was old enough to walk and he is always amazed at everything there is to see and do there. Even at 2 years old, there are plenty of activities to keep him entertained.

His favourite area is the race track area where you can build cars and race them down the track. He isn’t quite old enough to build his own cars yet but his dad is always willing to lend a helping hand. The two of them could spend their entire visit in this area.  He also loves the toddler room area with big foam building blocks and Little Tikes computers. He doesn’t understand how to play the educational computer games yet but he loves having a computer that he’s actually allowed to push buttons on.

The bubble area is always popular with the kids – especially the stage that you can stand on while you try to build a huge bubble around you.

My little guy loves all of the activities with steering wheels like the tractors and the farm equipment. They are all the perfect size for kids and he loves pretending that he’s a big boy driving a vehicle of his own.

Did you know that the Saskatchewan Science Centre has free (with the regular price of admission) family fun activities at 2pm every weekend?  They also have Science Time for Tots on Tuesday mornings geared towards kids 3-5 years old. All of these interactive workshops for tots last 30 minutes.  They also offer cool birthday party experiences with live critters, chemistry experiments and climbing wall packages.
