The Queen City Ex - a family friendly summary

The Queen City Ex presented by Mosaic is back in town July 31 – August 4. 

The QCX Parade will be held on Tuesday evening July 30th at 7pm, with the parade route starting at Cameron Street and Dewdney Ave and ends at the Tartan Curling Club on Broadway Street.

Following the parade will be FIREWORKS at dusk held in Wascana Park.

Kids at the QCX will be excited to see Shrek Stompin’ The Swamp in Confederation Park on Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM and 4 PM, and Splash N' Boots performing daily at 2pm, 5pm, 7pm in Kidz World!

Also returning is the Mosaic Flip for Hunger Family Day on Sunday, August 4 from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.   Pancake Breakfast and free admission runs until 11 AM.  Bring a non-perishable food donation, or make a monetary donation on site to the Regina & District Food Bank and receive free admission, and enjoy a free Pancake Breakfast courtesy of Mosaic & Evraz Place!

Bandoloni Bandaloniis an amazing, jaw dropping 100% live musical one-man band show with loads of audience interaction, humor and astounding novelty tricks executed on his custom made guitar and drum rig.






Ramada Plaza Midway Stage

Chris Dimas & Neuf- Performance Saturday night at 6pm and 10pm

Chris Dimas is a 16 year old drummer from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.  He has been keeping rhythm in one way or another all of his life, beginning with pots and pans and more formally with drum lessons starting at the age of 4.

Randy Cabral - Comedy Juggler- Performances daily at 3pm, 5pm, 9pm

As seen on ABC, FOX, and NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Randy Cabral has been providing laugh out loud professional entertainment services for over 15 years.

Kids four to 12 years old compete daily in a fast paced, action packed Pedal Tractor Pull competition. Register 10 minutes before the show start times listed above and come be the star of the show  

Magic Bean Ag Magic Show- performances daily at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm

Educational Agricultural Magic Show         

Dave Sharp Speed Painter- performances daily at 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 6pm

Mini's Express & The Expressions- performances daily at 1pm, 4pm  

Giant Flea Circus Show- performances daily at 12:45pm, 2:45pm, 3:30pm, 5:45pm, 6:50pm, 7:45pm

See this talented flea jump over hurdles, ring bells, roll pins, climb ladders and dive into shallow pools of water. With help from the audience, the Ringmaster will take the giant flea through a series of difficult and “death-defying” circus act performances.



Splash N' Boots- performances daily at 2pm, 5pm, 7pm

The Splash’N Boots show is fun, hip and edgy and will have you and your kids dancing the entire time. Splash’N Boots is guaranteed to bring out the inner rock star of kids and parents alike.

Harmony 2 Go- Performances daily at 6pm

Harmony 2 Go Youth Barbershop Chorus is an exciting addition to the Regina music scene. The first ever continuous youth barbershop group in this province, perhaps even the country.      



 Sask Art's Showcase - located in DQ Grill & Chill Arena, Arena 5

The Saskatchewan Arts Board and the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) are proud to partner to present Creative Play: The Saskatchewan Arts Board’s 65th Anniversary Touring Exhibition.

The exhibition Creative Play explores the concept of play as a process of individual, collective and artistic discovery. Discovery through play as children informs how we identify with the world around us and allows us to imagine other possibilities.

The work of each artist offers unique perspectives on the notion of play, from exploring fairy-tale narratives in our contemporary age to offering playful animations and delving into the creative process.
