Police watching for unbuckled children in June

The traffic safety spotlight for the month of June is occupant restraints. Police across the province will be on the lookout for drivers and passengers not wearing seatbelts, as well as unrestrained or improperly restrained children. Family Literacy Day

Happy Family Literacy Day 2014!  This day is all about having fun together as a family while you learn together, whether at home or in your community.  Take 20 minutes to sit and read a book to your child, create an opportunity to catch up and share each other's daily events by cooking dinner together, take time to play a board game as a family after dinner instead of watching TV or maybe start to plan a family event like a reunion or that summer vacation you really want to take this year.
